Alibaba Trade Assurance and This KK13 Order
This page records the purchaser’s experience of the marketplace process. It does not claim that Alibaba intentionally assisted the supplier or deliberately prevented a refund.
Supplier discussions continued in parallel
While the structural failure was being discussed, the supplier continued discussing a remedy in messages. Those messages included commitments to repair and to cover local repair and logistics costs.
The purchaser says those discussions influenced the decision not to escalate sooner through the marketplace formal dispute process.

Outcome according to the purchaser
According to the purchaser, the complaint did not produce reimbursement. This website does not assert a finding about Alibaba’s internal decision-making beyond what appears on the order screen and what the purchaser reports about the process.
Practical lesson from this case
Marketplace deadlines should be treated as strict even while a supplier promises a remedy. Informal after-sales discussions do not necessarily pause or extend formal protection windows.
- Note the dispute deadline as soon as a serious defect appears.
- Open a formal dispute within that deadline.
- Upload photographs, messages and invoices to the formal channel.
- Continue supplier dialogue if useful, but do not rely on it alone.
