Reporting and moderation policy
This policy explains how owner reports are checked and managed. Reports are not published automatically.
Purpose
This website publishes edited owner accounts of machine problems associated with products linked to Shandong Gaohe J.M. Machinery Co., Ltd / United J.M. Machinery. The aim is to document purchaser experiences with supporting evidence, not to host unverified accusations.
Steps to prevent fake or misleading reports
Consistent with UK Competition and Markets Authority guidance on reviews, the operator takes reasonable and proportionate steps to prevent and remove fake reviews and false or misleading review information. Those steps include:
- Email verification before review begins.
- Requesting purchase evidence (for example invoice or order confirmation).
- Requesting failure evidence (for example photographs, repair invoices or engineering reports).
- Manual review of each submission by the site operator.
- Separating opinions from documentable facts before publication.
- Rejecting allegations that cannot be supported.
- Offering the seller a right of reply.
- Removing or correcting material that is shown to be false or misleading.
What “publication” means
Publication means a manually edited case page or model-page summary prepared by the site operator. Submitting the form does not create a public page. Status labels describe the review stage; they do not mean every technical claim has been independently proven by a laboratory or court.
Seller responses
The supplier cannot veto a genuine, evidence-based report. Documented responses are added fairly. See the right of reply page.
Legal note
Section 5 of the Defamation Act 2013 provides a potential defence for website operators concerning user-posted statements, but it is procedural and conditional. It should not be treated as blanket protection. Manual editing and publication of reports may affect that position. The reporting system and this policy should be reviewed by a UK media or defamation solicitor before relying on them for launch risk assessment.
