Corrections policy
Factual errors are corrected visibly. Later resolutions and seller responses are recorded on the relevant case page where possible.
How to request a correction
If you believe a published statement is factually wrong, use the contact form or right of reply form. Identify the page, the statement, and the evidence that supports the correction.
What we correct
- Clear factual errors (dates, model names, amounts, hours, document descriptions).
- Misattributed quotations or screenshots.
- Material that should not have been published under the privacy rules (for example personal telephone numbers).
What we may not remove
Disagreement with a purchaser’s opinion, or a request to delete a genuine evidence-based account solely because it is unfavourable, is not by itself a ground for removal. Unsupported accusations may be rejected or removed. Fake or misleading material will be corrected or taken down.
How corrections appear
Where a case page is updated, the “date last updated” field is refreshed. Material corrections may be noted briefly on the page so readers can see what changed. Resolved disputes may move to a “Resolved” status with a short factual note.
